How to remove locking wheel nuts

Removing locking wheel nuts, without the appropriate key, can be a time-wasting and costly problem that can create damage to your customer’s alloy. This can’t be solved by drilling, chiselling or using spiral sockets.

To overcome this problem, Dynomec’s engineers have developed a unique locking wheel nut removal tool which can be used to remove any locking wheel nut in minutes. Using the clear instructions supplied, the system will work with any type of wheel nut, with no fuss and absolutely no alloy wheel damage.

Identify the locking wheel nut that needs removing from the supplied chart.

Then assemble the tool by separating the outer shroud from the tool body,
selecting and clipping on the appropriate blade and refitting the shroud over the blade, onto the tool body.

Then place the tool firmly against the lock nut face and build up hammer impacts
until it is firmly embedded into the lock nut.

Finally, using the Dynomec impact driver (or an air wrench or breaker bar),
simply remove the locking wheel nut.
