Comline has hosted a champions celebration at its global headquarters in Luton, following a title-winning Porsche Carrera Cup GB season.
Comline Richardson Racing secured the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Teams’ Championship at its season-ending race weekend held at Brands Hatch (GP). It clinched the title in dramatic style at what has been described as the most dramatic and turbulent meet of the entire season.
Team honours were secured despite a spectacular high-speed crash during the penultimate race of the season involving Comline Richardson Racing driver, Will Martin.
Heading straight from Brands Hatch to Luton, the victorious Comline Richardson Racing team received a heroes’ welcome at Comline’s global headquarters.
Comline General Manager – Marketing and Communications, Leigh Davies, said: “This season has been a wild and wonderful ride – 2022 will live long in the memory. We were thrilled to be joining forces with Richardson Racing at the beginning of the season, and had realistic aspirations for success, but to emerge with the Teams’ Championship is simply sensational!
“I would like to pay tribute to everyone at Comline Richardson Racing, from top-to-bottom, everyone connected with the team has been incredibly accommodating and played their part in what has been a hugely successful season both on and off the track.”
