Entries are now open for the British Independent Garage of the Year Awards 2027, celebrating the people, businesses and achievements making the UK’s independent automotive aftermarket so successful.
Independent Garages are now encouraged to get entries in for one or more of the 15 award categories available to choose from. The award categories and entry forms can be viewed via the BIG Awards pages on the IGA’s website.
Now in its fifth year, the BIG Awards has moved to a new venue at the Coventry Building Society Arena and a new date for the 2027 event, on the Friday 18th June 2027.
The BIG Awards shines a spotlight on excellence across the independent garage sector, recognising outstanding achievements in the areas of customer service, training, community engagement, business excellence and the contribution independent garages and individuals make to the wider industry.
The 2027 event will mark five years of celebrating the very best of the independent sector, bringing together garages and industry professionals for an evening dedicated to recognising their hard work, commitment and success.
Stuart James, Independent Garage Association, said: “The BIG Awards have become a hugely important celebration of everything that makes the independent garage sector special. Moving to a new time of year and a new venue gives us the opportunity to create an even bigger occasion, while continuing to shine a light on the fantastic businesses and individuals who work tirelessly across our industry.
“The BIG Awards are always a highlight of the industry calendar, and I would encourage every garage and individual who is proud of what they do to put themselves forward. It is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the people, passion and professionalism behind the independent sector and celebrate the achievements that deserve recognition.”
Entries for the British Independent Garage of the Year 2027 are now open.
