Oldfields Garage: ALLDATA’s Repair Excellence Event ‘worth giving up a Saturday for’!

Oldfields Garage’s Tim Benson is encouraging fellow workshop professionals to take advantage of a “practical, valuable day” that is focused on grabbing workshop opportunities and overcoming challenges when ALLDATA’s Repair Excellence Event gets underway at the award-winning Herefordshire workshop on Saturday 11 July.

Cologne, Germany – 30 June, 2026 – After hugely successful and well-attended events at Shaikly Motors and DC Motors in 2025, where hundreds of workshop professionals joined, ALLDATA’s 2026 Repair Excellence Event roadshow gets underway at Oldfields Garage.

Recognised industry stakeholders will deliver impactful, engaging and relevant presentations to a wide audience, then delegates will be allocated into groups for a series of concise technical and business sessions. Each seminar will cover topics that workshops can absorb and apply to their day-to-day environments that will help futureproof their business.

Passionately, Tim explained why attending Repair Excellence Event, particularly during a weekend, would be invaluable: “Giving up a Saturday is never a small ask, especially in this industry, but if workshop owners and technicians care about doing the job properly, developing their team, improving their business and being part of a stronger independent aftermarket, this is exactly the kind of event worth making time for.

“These events are rare, so I urge the trade to come forward and take advantage of the content that’s on offer.”

Genuine OEM repair data at the heart of the day

As a provider of OEM repair data, maintenance schedules and labour times, naturally, ALLDATA will entwine the advantages and solutions they provide independent workshops into the event – showing real-world examples and presenting tangible benefits that can bolster workshops’ efficiency, profitability and professionalism.

A host of suppliers will also support the event, while breakfast and lunch will be provided, meaning delegates will have ample networking opportunities.

Both ALLDATA and Oldfields Garage are aligned in wanting to utilise the Repair Excellence Event as a method of driving standards within the automotive aftermarket.

Tim concluded: “We wanted to host a Repair Excellence Event because the best progress in our trade happens when workshop professionals get in the same room, share openly and challenge each other to keep raising standards.

“Our goal for the day is to build an environment where participants receive practical solutions to real workshop challenges. They’ll also gain valuable technical insights and engage in honest conversations that they can apply to their own businesses on Monday morning.”
