Sales

GEMCO’s product portfolio includes: MOT bays, wheel balancers and tyre changers, two post lifts, in-ground lifts, four post lifts, workshop furniture, brake testers, compressors, oil equipment and more.

It has a sales force that covers all of the UK, with centuries of garage equipment

experience between them. The company also benefits from an in-house CAD drawing and design team, which can work with any size of workshop, helping to ensure that you use the space effectively and that you can fit all of your equipment in the workshop, in a way that suits you.

Construction

The construction division supports customers by providing a technical service, ranging from advice to on-site contract works. From conception to completion, the division will help you implement your workshop project using its construction and engineering knowledge, expertise and experience. The business is sustainable, with over 9000 live customer accounts, serviced by the group in over 12,000 UK customer locations.

Service

GEMCO Service is claimed to be the UK’s largest garage equipment workshop Service and Spares provider. Regardless of business size, GEMCO aims to give you the best service for your workshop, whether it is for installation, inspection, maintenance, breakdown repairs or calibrations.

The company also claims to have more engineers than anyone else in the garage equipment industry, meaning a quicker service. Insurance inspections of vehicle lifts and pressure system examinations are also available.

Dunlop Garage Equipment – budget tier brand

Dunlop Garage Equipment is known for its wheel and tyre care equipment, featuring tyre changers, wheel balancers and wheel alignment.

Reportedly a best-seller within the tyre changer range is the Dunlop DTM285HD Fully Automatic Tyre Machine, which is designed for high usage, featuring a dual- speed turntable and an alloy protection cover for the turntable. This machine can be fitted with an assist arm to aid the user when changing low profile and run flat tyres (ART390 optional extra).

In terms of two post lifts, the DL240 is said to be a popular choice with GEMCO customers. The Dunlop DL240 4 tonne two post lift comes as standard with a strong, supportive H-type baseframe. This two post lift is electro-hydraulically operated and is available in single or three phase, at no extra cost. The locks are automatically engaged and disengaged using solenoids (no manual releases). This two post lift comes as standard with three stage arms on the front and two stage arms on the rear.

Bradbury – Mid-tier brand

With a wealth of experience and heritage under its belt, Bradbury focuses on products

aimed at the car market, covering everything from two-post lifts, scissor lifts and four-post lifts through to ATL bays, brake testers, gas and smoke, wheel care and tyre equipment.

Lifting equipment has always been at the heart of the Bradbury brand, however, in recent years, complete ATL packages have become increasingly popular. Bradbury offers an extensive range of Class 4 and Class 7 ATL packages, all of which include the option to add a gas and smoke unit at a discounted price. All Bradbury ATL packages and gas and smoke units include a three-year warranty.

AutopStenhoj – Top tier brand

Autop and Stenhøj have merged into one brand: AutopStenhoj. Autop is a manufacturer of hydraulic in-ground vehicle lifts and Stenhøj is known for its surface-mounted lifts, air compressors and hydraulic presses.

With more than 480,000 workshop equipment products worldwide, the two strong brands have proven their quality, reliability and longevity, says GEMCO. The car product range includes: two post lifts, in- ground lifts, scissor lifts and four post lifts.

The brand has a broad range of manufacturer approved lifts, including: VW Group, BMW, Volvo, Mercedes and Ford. These lifts can be found in the likes of Jaguar, Land Rover and Audi dealerships across the country.

Sherpa – Top tier brand

Sherpa is GEMCO’s premium brake tester brand. As standard, Class 4 and 7 Sherpa brake testers include the following features and benefits:

■ Can be linked to emission analyser, or a separate PC/Trolley is available
