Valeo Launches Digital Garage Network

Valeo Launches Digital Garage Network

Whilst garage schemes and franchises already exist in multiple forms nationwide, Valeo announces the launch of a new concept: The Clutch Specialist Network by Valeo, powered through WhoCanFixMyCar.com.

Drivers can now find the right garage for their car needs from servicing to repairs. When it comes to clutch repair, Valeo is now creating a network of garages through this web platform to provide an overview of the best in class repair methods and parts. Drivers are now able to make an informed decision from multiple garages and choose the ones who can provide them with the right level of service. The Clutch Specialist Network is clearly identified throughout WhoCanFixMyCar.com website and is linked to the garages belonging to the concept.

The best of both worlds – Parts and Repair

The Clutch Specialist Network has been created to allow a greater relationship between a leading global transmission manufacturer and the leading independent clutch fitters in the UK. The Network is composed of individually informed, trained and certified garages by Valeo. All garage members of the Clutch Specialist Network have been chosen based on the quality of reviews left by their customers, their level of quality and service, the number of clutch jobs won on the WhoCanFixMyCar.com platform and their high Valeo brand expertise.

Al Preston, co-founder of WhoCanFixMyCar.com, instigated this new relationship through his web platform: “Offering a wide choice of garages to the end users, just on a click of a button, is proven to be a success. With the Clutch Specialist Network by Valeo, we can now provide best quality of parts and repairs and inform the end users about it. The drivers have the right to choose which brand and garages they want to use to best suit their needs.”

Digital network – real support

Although the Clutch Specialist Network has been created and primarily displayed on the WhoCanFixMyCar.com website, Valeo is engaging with the members. Regular garage visits, training offering, access to technical content, webinars, Valeo Connected Assistance through video calls are just some of the activities in place to animate the Network and ensure quality of parts and services.

Andrew Swann, Managing Director at Valeo Service UK, says: “We are excited about working closely with the new Network. Garages are demanding greater support from parts manufacturers. Associating the Valeo brand with them, through WhoCanFixMyCar.com, can only open new opportunities for their workshop and this will surely be also beneficial to the parts distributors. We are looking at creating a network of 250 garages in 2018, making sure that we can support each of them appropriately. This is ambitious but our Tech’Care program will be focusing on the Clutch Specialist Network”.

Valeo’s Tech’Care program includes technical support with a technical hotline and www.valeo-techassist.com, training suite like webinars, e-trainings, workshop tools and technical promotion through garage visits.

Getting ready for tomorrow

Michael Gougeon, Marketing Director for Valeo Service UK, adds: “Being part of the Clutch Specialist Network also provides the opportunity for garages to discover the greater Valeo outside powertrain systems. All the current Valeo innovations linked to reduction of CO2 emissions, connectivity and automated driving will have an impact for the technicians in the future. Valeo Service is here to make sure we can provide them with the right tools, knowledge and solutions to address the cars of tomorrow”.

Surely, being part of the Clutch Specialist Network will bring a wave of new opportunities in the UK market. Garages can register their interest by contacting WhoCanFixMyCar.com or Valeo Service UK directly.
