John Mickel, driving the Team K-Seal Sponsored Legends car, has won the 2015 Legends UK Nationals title.
This completes the triple for John. In October he won the Legends World Masters Final in the USA and also picked up the World Series title – having scored more points than any other Legends racer in the world.
Watched by the Kalimex team and guests, Mickel went into the final round at Brands Hatch leading the championship, his rivals determined to overtake him for the title.
With an onslaught of rain and wind the conditions were treacherous to say the least. Grip was also reduced by the diesel dropped on track from the racing trucks.
Mickel however kept his nerve and drove a superbly controlled race clinching the championship with two races to spare.
