Laser Tools has just introduced a pair of cable cutters (part number 8782), designed for clean cutting through various cables, including starter motor and battery main cables up to 10mm in diameter.
These cutters feature two sets of cutting jaws — one suitable for coaxial cables and the other for steel and aluminium-clad cables. It also features spring-loaded, cushion-grip handles which enable one-handed operation. The design of the curved main jaws aims to allows cutting without flattening or damaging the cable. The lower straight blade has a plastic safety-shroud and is used for cutting stronger steel and aluminium-clad cables.
