Chicago Pneumatic has now introduced a new ultracapacitor (battery-less) jump starter to its range. The CP90600 can start light and heavy vehicles up to 24V.
This new jump starter uses ultracapacitor technology to jump start a flat battery within seconds. The CP90600 is said to deliver high starting power up to 16,000A in 12V mode and 8,000A in 24V mode, jump starting any type of vehicle, from passenger cars to trucks and buses. The high quality ultracapacitor jump starter is equipped with an alert to prevent polarity inversion, and a fuse to protect both the product and the vehicle. Once the flat battery is running again, the ultracapacitor technology recharges fast on the running engine, in less than 30 seconds.
It is around 20% lighter than traditional lead-acid batteries, for easier and more comfortable transportation and is supported by five years’ guarantee for up to one million cycles. Fused to protect the vehicle and the booster from improper use, it is user-friendly with easy reading and voltage information.
The lightweight and comfortable unit, with on/off button and voltage selection, has full electrical insulation for protection from electric arcs during set-up. Durable with large copper clamps and 50mm2/0.48in2 cables, it offers double polarity protection.
The new edition joins the existing CP90250 and CP90500, which deliver high starting power of up to 9,000A peak, so if you need to start a small or large gas or diesel engine, on passenger cars /light trucks, boats or motorbikes, these units will work for you.
