Automotive and road safety professionals, who help raise awareness about tyre safety issues, are to be honoured at the inaugural TyreSafe Awards in November.
Tyre manufacturers, retailers, emergency services and councils are among several organisations being encouraged to submit nominations for the luncheon ceremony taking place on November 20 at St. John’s Hotel in Solihull, Birmingham.
Stuart Jackson, Chairman of TyreSafe, said he wanted to recognise the “significant contribution” in improving road safety in the UK over recent years.
“This success would not have been possible without the high levels of support and participation we’ve enjoyed from a growing number and wider range of organisations. This first-ever awards ceremony gives us the opportunity to formally recognise these efforts as well as inspire others,” he said.
The awards ceremony will feature eight award categories, including independent garages. Also, there will be an outstanding achievement award, which will be decided by a judging panel from all of the individual entries submitted.
Closing date for entries of nomination is November 1.
