Schaeffler has reminded mechanics to register for its free REPXPERT Academy Live roadshow at Tameside College, Ashton-under-Lyne on Saturday 21st October.
The focus for this event is to help mechanics keep up with new vehicle technologies and to encourage them to invest their time and effort to learn how to correctly service, diagnose and repair them. These topics will be built into the presentations of two of the company’s REPXPERTS, Alistair Mason, who will highlight LuK double clutch systems and Brad Adams, who will discuss INA belt drive systems.
Matt Selby, Sales & Marketing Director for Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket (UK), said: “We believe that REPXPERT Academy LIVE is the perfect platform for mechanics and garage owners wanting to enhance their knowledge of the latest products and repair solutions with hints and tips from Schaeffler. We are also pleased to welcome Bosch, who will be presenting a diagnostics mini masterclass in the workshop, while Tim Benson, will share invaluable workshop business best practice advice to help them maximise profit.”
Following the usual REPXPERT Academy LIVE format, attendees can enjoy breakfast from 09:00, with the training sessions starting at 10:00 and finishing around 16:00. Every attendee will be invited to experience all four training sessions, including the chance to interact with selected guests in the workshop area, such as experts from the IMI and Tameside College, plus familiar workshop names such as TechMan, Garage Services Online, Laser Tools and Motul.
Complimentary lunch and refreshments are included throughout the day, and as the event is held in partnership with The Institute of the Motor Industry, CPD points can be claimed by all visitors.
