Bedfordshire-based Comline Auto Parts Ltd, the organisation behind the Comline brand, has once again been named as one of ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ by the London Stock Exchange Group.
Comline is listed for the second successive year following its inclusion in the inaugural list back in 2014 and is just one of 147 companies to have achieved the notable feat of back-to-back listings.
The initiative recognises the most inspiring small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from across the UK and features representation from a wide variety industry sectors, including automotive.
The list is aimed at showcasing those organisations that have made a significant contribution to the UK economy in recent years.
To gain entry, Comline first had to meet the criteria laid out by the London Stock Exchange Group. This included demonstrating positive revenue growth over the past four years, as well as an increase in employee numbers, workspace occupied, contract wins or patent filings.
With over four million SMEs operating within the UK, Comline’s continuing presence as one of the top 1000 companies to satisfy this criteria is an achievement which cannot be overstated. Comline Sales & Marketing Director, Malcolm Rosher commented:
“We are absolutely thrilled to be named as one of ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ for the second year in succession and it’s an achievement made all the more poignant when you consider that Comline is one of only 147 SMEs in Britain to have accomplished this feat.
“The drive and determination of all employed by Comline Auto Parts Ltd continues to push the business forward and our sustained presence in this list is hugely gratifying for all connected to the organisation.”
