The site, which received a major makeover at the back-end of 2015 – is the solution for all things technical regarding Schaeffler’s original equipment (OE) LuK clutch, INA tensioner and FAG wheel bearings brands, plus Ruville engine and suspension components.
A significant change to the updated site is that it has now been split into three easy to navigate sections that together provide quick and simple access to a full Schaeffler encyclopedia for the modern workshop professional.
No more mistaken identity
Additionally, one of the major attributes of REPXPERT is the many ways it is now possible to identify the correct parts needed for a repair. A built-in TecDoc-powered REPXPERT product catalogue allows you to search by make, model or OE number, plus several other search options such as by VIN or engine code.
And if users would like to know more about a specific Schaeffler product, such as a LuK RepSet Pro, they can simply look at the generic product page and follow the links to access all of the printed promotional or technical materials and videos related to that product.
Support vans
REPXPERT has recently also gone ‘Live’, with a brand-new fleet of three ‘Technical & Customer Support’ vehicles, designed to enable trainers to give hands-on professional support to technicians at trade shows and events around the country.
Each van started its life as a high roof long wheel base Volkswagen Crafter, but they’ve been heavily adapted to include a customised workshop style interior and a roof mounted race paddock style awning that can be quickly erected to provide a product display and training environment.
The vans are fully equipped with an array of the latest tools, products, equipment and training materials to deliver a truly ‘mobile academy’ experience to both Schaeffler distributors and their workshop customers.
