LKQ Euro Car Parts is bringing Starline’s BlackStar coated discs to UK workshops for the first time, providing technicians with highly durable, corrosion resistant braking products that aim to save on installation time.
Using electrophoretic technology – a process where paint is bonded to metal surfaces using an electric current – the coating provides a durable protective layer against corrosion, while removing the need for cleaning before installation. It is applied to withstand over 120 hours of salt spray exposure, supporting longer service life in demanding conditions such as cold and wet UK winters.
