PMM recently attended TRW Aftermarket’s 2015 Component Safety Event at the Nurburgring, Germany.
You can read as much as you like about the importance of good quality parts, but to see it with your own eyes really drills it home. All of the visitors were driven at 70mph before the driver attempted a simple lane change manoeuvre around some cones. In the first run the car was fitted with new TRW shocks. The second time around was in a vehicle with a defective shock absorber. The results were quite startling.
