The introduction of new Comma Xstream GG40 with BASF Glysantin extends the brand portfolio of contemporary antifreeze/coolants to five manufacturer-approved products.
Based on glycol and glycerine, its adapted Si-OAT (Silicated Organic Additive) technology derives from a renewable and environmentally sustainable source as a by-product of biodiesel production.
With its status as a VW-Group specific product, Comma Xstream GG40 with BASF Glysantin is officially approved for all Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Skoda, Bentley, Bugatti and Lamborghini (TL 774-J) models from 2012 onwards; currently over 400,000 UK vehicles.
It is complimentary to Comma Xstream G40 – which is approved for all VW-Group models from 2005 onwards – because that product also meets application requirements for models from other vehicle manufacturers, e.g. Mercedes Benz and Mitsubishi.
Comma’s application data will therefore recommend both Xstream GG40 and Xstream G40 for VW-Group models from 2012 onwards.
New Comma Xstream GG40 with BASF Glysantin will be available from the end of Q3 2015 in both Concentrate and Ready Mixed 5 litre packs and also 2 litre Concentrate.
