Power-TEC have released a hybrid and electric vehicle safety kit (part number 91162), which includes its standard set of safety products, including workshop, vehicle and personal safety items, along with a range of insulated tools and test instruments for working on hybrid and electric vehicles.
The safety kit also consists of safety posts and chains, signage, and vehicle lockout products. These aim to ensure a secure working environment in the workshop. The personal safety equipment included is rated for 1000V safe working which is vital for safeguarding individuals during electric vehicle repair and maintenance tasks. The kit also includes a selection of insulated tools and testers compliant with IEC60900 standards for tools and CAT III/IV for insulation testing.
