Power-TEC has introduced a multi-colour LED light board (part number 92467) to aid painless dent removal.
With the multitude of colours, and metallic, pearl and mica finishes on modern vehicles, it can sometimes be difficult to read a small dent using the traditional reflector reading board. The new Power-TEC multi-colour light board lets the operator choose the best contrasting light shade for the colour and finish of the panel being repaired.
Fifteen colours are available, from deep reds through to pale yellows and cool blues. Because of this ability you can easily read dents on tricky coloured cars, it works especially well on solid white and lighter coloured vehicles. For example, a mid-yellow light shows up dents very well on light metallic blue paintwork. Varying lighting conditions in the workshop are also catered for with four different levels of brightness, all controlled by a wireless, battery-powered remote control.
Powered from a standard 240V supply, the light board is sized at 200 x 360mm to give good panel coverage and is supplied with a strong 115mm diameter pump-action suction base with safety indicator. The flexi-arm features a quick-release clip to remove the light board from the arm for easy storage.
