Alba Diagnostics has launched a new range of Hydraulic Trolley Jacks – manufactured in the EEC, to EN1494 European Standard, with additional built-in Safety Features.
Safety is becoming ever more critical in today’s busy workshop environment, therefore new product features which will enhance the operator’s safety are always welcome.
The new Alba Hydraulic Trolley Jacks have a number of new safety related features:-
- “Dead Man” safety lowering control system – this ensures that even if the operator accidentally loses control of the lowering process, control is maintained. The Lowering Control System ensures safe controlled release in all circumstances.
- The Lowering Control System also detects when the jack is under load, or not – therefore the speed of lowering is increased when the jack is no longer under load.
- Safety Overload Valve and Hydraulic Stroke limitation, ensures that a load greater than the stated capacity of the jack cannot be attempted to be lifted.
The range consists of three models, at 2.0 tonnes, 3 tonnes, and 6 tonnes capacity, and each model has additional features which are of benefit to the operator:
- Ergonomic, multi-position handle design with rubber grips, for reduce effort
- Foot pedal for fast approach lift to operating height
- Low-noise polyamide wheels
- Built-in tools holding tray
