Exol Lubricants has introduced a brand new automatic transmission fluid (ATF) Autotrans ELC, which has been approved by German transmission manufacturer ZF for use in many applications in the commercial vehicle, rail and marine sectors.
Autotrans ELC was developed originally to provide premium protection to ZF Ecolife gearboxes used in buses. Autotrans ELC is an ideal choice where the ZF TE-ML 20C specification is recommended for use over extended drain intervals.
The fluid is formulated using the highest quality fully synthetic base stocks together with advanced additive technology to provide the maximum level of component durability over extended periods.
In addition to offering high levels of thermal stability, Autotrans ELC extends fluid life along with providing exceptional oxidation resistance, proven antiwear performance, anti-shudder characteristics and excellent sludge and varnish control. As a result, this ATF protects modern transmissions better than traditional fluids while also offering premium performance in older vehicles.
Autotrans ELC is also recommended for many other commercial vehicle applications and meets many key specifications required by Allison, Voith, MAN and ZF. It is also an ideal choice in many passenger cars as a service fill fluid to replace the original OEM genuine oil.
Autotrans ELC is available now in bulk road tanker deliveries, IBCs, 205 litre barrels and 25 litre drums.
