Britool Expert has recently launched a new range of bodywork and trim tools into the aftermarket.
To combat difficultly in removing panels and trim from vehicles, Britool have released tools that should help technicians speed up the removal process, while ensuring that parts, fixings and panels all remain intact.
The clip removal pliers (E201201B) allow easy access and removal of hard-to-reach clips on bumper covers and liners. The jaws are inserted under the clip, and, with a squeeze of the handles, a positive lift action is initiated, allowing easy removal without causing damage to either the clip or the surrounding bodywork.
Also included in this latest batch is the mini-trim/panel removal kit (E20123B), which is a set of six tough and flexible plastic spatulas and forks, designed to remove small items of trim without causing damage.
The other notable addition to this range is the composite scraper kit. Comprising four composite material scrapers in 19, 22, 25, 38 mm widths, this set is designed to remove objects without causing harm to painted or aluminium surfaces. Ideal for removal of trim, badges, decals and residues from alloy wheels. The scrapers can also be sharpened with a file when necessary.
