WhoCanFixMyCar.com garage wins over 250 new customers in its first year

In July this year, Drew Irvine at Thomsons Auto Centre in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, registered his 250th job won on WhoCanFixMyCar.com, less than a year after he signed up.

In return for a little over £2,500 commission, Thomsons Auto Centre believe they have brought in close to £100,000 of incremental business, which works out at £337 per job. In fact that figured is slightly under the overall WhoCanFixMyCar.com average, which it says is £350 per job.

As well as that Drew believes that 20% of these customers have come back to him for additional work which, because it wasn’t booked through WhoCanFixMyCar.com, he wasn’t required to pay extra commission on.

Thomsons Auto Centre puts its success down to the volume of business sent to them by WhoCanFixMyCar.com.

Also, because of the commissions are displayed up-front before applying, Thomsons know it can quote safe in the knowledge that costs will be kept under control.

WhoCanFixMyCar.com allows garages to see a customer’s phone number once they’ve quoted, meaning Drew can follow his quote up with a courtesy call, and even get the car booked in then and there.
