UK worker of the year 2016 goes live

UK Worker of the Year (UKWOTY) is in its seventh year and the prizes are better than ever. The competition sponsored by workwear giants Dickies, in association with Honda and ASDA, has an amazing choice of prizes this year.

The winner will choose from a Honda Jazz car, a Honda Crosstourer 1200cc motorbike, a Honda Marine Rib boat, while there is also £250,000 cash, a year’s free shopping at ASDA, a luxury holiday and many more goodies up for grabs

UK Worker of the Year (UKWOTY) is open to anyone in the UK who works. It doesn’t matter where you work or what your position and responsibilities are and you can enter yourself or indeed nominate colleagues, friends and family who you think are worthy of recognition of the title. Past winners have come from various industries, with carer and homicide case worker Katie Washbourne from Birmingham coming out on top last year.

It’s very simple to enter and will only take a matter of minutes. All you need to do is go to www.ukworkeroftheyear.com and answer two simple questions about what your job is and why you think you or your nominee should win UKWOTY. Competition entry runs until September.

The Somerset-based workwear company has announced that the 2016 winners’ prize will come from associate sponsor Honda and be a choice of a Jazz car, Crosstourer motorbike, Rib boat with trailer or Dickies will also offer the choice of a luxury holiday worth £5,000.

Alongside these fabulous prizes, ASDA will give the winner a year’s free shopping and the runner-up and third place will also receive three months and a month’s free shopping as well as £2,000 and £1,000 holiday vouchers respectively.

The winner will also have the chance of winning £250,000 in cash, should they predict the top six of the a chosen British Superbike race at Brands Hatch in October, which is where the final gala event will take place to announce the recipient of the UK WOTY 2016 title.
