News that the IAAF is holding a series of networking and seminar meetings around the UK has attracted much interest amongst members.
Initial response to notice of the first of the innovative events has been good, with more than half the expected number booking in the first week since information was first circulated. So get your booking in to the IAAF office to ensure your seat!
This first event is to be held on Tuesday 25th of March at the premises of First Line Ltd, the well-respected aftermarket parts supply company whose brands include the iconic Borg&Beck clutch range. They moved into their brand new premises two years ago and drivers along the M40 will have been impressed, particularly at night, by the two huge ‘First Line’ and ‘Borg&Beck’ signs which adorn their building.
As a focus for the event – which will start at 8:30am and finish around 11:30 – is a presentation on aspects of social media, especially the best techniques for using ‘Linked-In’, by Adam Petford of Bizlinks. There will also be a short update on IAAF activities. Primarily, however, the morning is designed to allow members to meet one another and to meet IAAF staff and Council Members.
Attendance at the event is FREE to members and demand is already looking high. Email Ann Silvester to book your free place at the IAAF network meeting on 25 March 2014. Following your registration at the event, the IAAF will respond with full meeting details and directions.
