TerraClean network raises £2000 for Macmillan Cancer Support

The TerraClean network of independent garages, dealerships and mobile mechanics has raised more than £2000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The amount was raised in an entertaining round of “stand-up Bingo” at he Keel Row, Seaton Delaval, which was the evening venue for the TerraClean Conference, hosted by Cramlington business Randstad Ltd.

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer by providing practical, medical and financial support and pushes for better cancer care.

Phillip Dowd, Randstad sales director, said: “This was an overwhelming gesture by the TerraClean network and one that each workshop and the automotive industry can be really proud of.

“Randstad’s TerraClean conferences attract people and businesses from all over the UK at their own expense and so to have everyone in attendance make a donation is an incredible achievement and one that will make a positive contribution to the support Macmillan provides.”
