Schaeffler has announced its latest training course will take place at the Tool Connection training centre in Southam 6th & 7th of September.
Interested technicians can book their place via the ticket portal at the OESAA (Original Equipment Suppliers Aftermarket Association) website.
OESAA is allowing Schaeffler, one of the original members of the campaign for genuine parts quality, to host a page on its existing ticket platform to allow potential delegates to book places at the event.
Only 12 places are available for the double clutch training course, which is designed to give workshops the chance to see the profit opportunity the repair of these systems provides the independent sector. Delegates will also learn the correct replacement procedures they need to follow to ensure an efficient and professional repair.
Technical Services Manager, Alistair Mason, explained: “The objective of the course is to give technicians the knowledge and confidence to undertake VAG double clutch system replacement using our LuK 2CT repair solutions and the correct tools, as well as an understanding of the comprehensive support network that the REPXPERT programme provides them.
“Both days follow the same structure, starting with an overview of the double clutch system, followed by the theory behind the clutch and mechatronics. We then move onto a practical removal and installation, as well as looking into the common issues that can affect the three main elements: gearbox, mechatronics and clutch. The only difference is that day one covers the dry clutch system, whereas day two covers the wet clutch version.
“At just £299 per person (inc.VAT), the two-day course, which includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day, is exceptional value and, as numbers are so limited, interested attendees should act quickly to secure their place.”
