The 2014 TerraClean Karting Challenge, launched by Randstad, took place at Stretton Circuit, Leicester, on Saturday July 12.
The format was a “Le Mans” style race and each TerraClean service centre team featured between three and six drivers. A number of fabulous prizes were available to entrants, from the fastest driver to best team and some fun challenges involved as well.
Stretton Circuit is one of the UK’s premier karting arenas and has developed a reputation for being a particularly challenging track – a real racers circuit with a total circuit length of over 850m. Drivers can enjoy wide sweeping bends, high speed corners and superb visibility day or night.
The Karting Challenge offered an excellent opportunity to network with fellow mechanics and companies in the build up to the TerraClean Awards, which take place in October.
Phillip Dowd, Randstad Sales Director said: “The Karting Challenge is another example of the efforts Randstad will go to in order to engage with the TerraClean network.”
