An innovative conference and hands-on technical and training weekend for UK independent garages is being backed by a prominent UK campaign to promote the benefits to workshops of fitting original equipment (OE) parts.
The Original Equipment Suppliers Aftermarket Association (OESAA) is the driving force behind AutoInform Live (29th and 30th November), an event that has been organised in conjunction with one of the UK’s leading technical trainer Frank Massey to give visitors a ‘Hear it, See it and Touch it’ experience
Comprising of advice on diagnostics; information sourcing; hands-on demonstrations; trade stands; taster GTG course; IMI Awards Certified Training; and customer handling, the event will offer plenty of networking opportunities. There are also plans for a gala dinner to be held for delegates and their partners.
NTN-SNR a member of OESAA, will be taking an active part in the event, presenting its latest developments and hands on practical demonstrations in the workshop. This will include a vehicle demo showing removal and fitting of wheel bearings using the correct tools from HAZET.
During the two days the company will deliver informative presentataions covering ASB (Active Sensor Bearings) and ABS diagnostics (alongside Frank Massey). Additionally, a technical discussion on correct fitment of different types of wheel bearings, the benefits of using quality tools and technical diagnosis of failed bearings will also take place.
