Did you know we support the motor charity, BEN?
BEN, a not-for-profit organisation, seeks to provide practical help, support and advice to you and others who work, or have worked, in the automotive industry. The charity also supports the family dependents of these industry workers too. BEN aims to provide a lasting, positive difference to people’s lives.
Some of the primary reasons for people contacting BEN are:
- Money worries
- Physical health challenges
- Loneliness and social isolation
- Mental health concern
In addition to its wide range of free confidential information, advice and support services, BEN operates highly-regarded care centres at various locations throughout the UK.
In honour of the great support that BEN provides to individual’s within our industry, IGA will be fundraising for BEN by taking part in a driving tour, called Bangers4BEN.
On Saturday 8th October, a total of 32 companies will partake in the four-day driving stint, heading to Maranello, Italy.
In a motor worth no more than £750, participants will complete the Ferrari themed trip; travelling to The Maranello Village in Italy, staying in the only Ferrari themed hotel on the planet, and visiting the Ferarri museum and test track.
Upon completion, entrants must then sell the car at auction to raise money for BEN.
Last year, Bangers4BEN raised nearly £56,000 in total, and we want to contribute to raising that figure this year! IGA managed to raise £1,210 last year and we need your help to top that. Why not help us along by making a donation? Any offerings – big or small – will be greatly received.
