The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) is planning to highlight the ongoing threats to commercial vehicle parts suppliers, distributors, hauliers and fleet operators at the upcoming CV show.
Occupying a well-positioned stand (4B02) near the entrance to hall 4, the CV show takes place from April 14 to 16 2015.
Manned throughout the three day event by members of the IAAF team and IAAF CV committee, the federation will promote – in a range of literature and marketing material – what the federation stands for, the issues it is working on such as access to technical information and, the potential threats, challenges and opportunities facing the CV aftermarket.
As an example, the results published from the recent Ricardo survey identified inadequate data as a key cause of multiple parts supply from motor factors and the IAAF has welcomed the recognition that was given to the independent sector.
In addition, visitors to the stand can leave their business card to be in with a chance to win a limited edition 1:24 Volvo FH4 model truck featuring a selection of brands from the automotive aftermarket.
Wendy Williamson, IAAF Chief Executive, said: “The IAAF is all about adding value for its members and protecting their interests. The CV show enables us to really drive home the message of what the IAAF does and its current level of activity designed to support the entire membership.”
