Ben Enter is first CP Pit Stop Challenge Winner

The first winner of the 2016 Chicago Pneumatic Pit Stop Challenge is Ben Enter, from DREAM Automotive in Watford.

Ray Feasey, Chicago Pneumatic Marketing Manager UK & Ireland, visited the technician earlier this week to present him with his prize of a CP8848 Cordless Impact Wrench Kit, which was supplied with carry case two batteries and a charger.

The challenge

Using the CP8848 Cordless 1/2” Impact Wrench, the wheel change challenge requires entrants to remove the bolts and wheel from the hub, touch the wheel to the metal base floor and then put the wheel back on the hub and fasten the five studs, in the fastest time.

Ben was the quickest over the two days at MECHANEX, Alexandra Palace, in April, setting a winning time of 17.34 seconds on the opening day of the show.

Pit Stop ChallengeWayne Brooks (pictured right), who won the challenge last year, kick-started the competition earlier in the day by posting an excellent time of 17.61 seconds.

Keep a look out on PMM Online for the video of Wayne launching the competition and setting his ‘time to beat’.

The next ‘Pit Stop Challenge’ will take place at MECHANEX at Manchester’s Event City on May 17 & 18, where you can have a go at beating Ben’s time.

£800 prize bundle

Ben will now be invited, along with the winners from the three remaining shows of the year, to take part in a ‘Pit Stop Race off’ in November.

The ultimate ‘2016 Pit Stop Champion’ will win a Chicago Pneumatic tools and workshop equipment prize bundle, worth £800.

Visit Chicago Pneumatic on stand C80 in Manchester to enter and give yourself the chance to win some great prizes, as well as seeing CP’s latest product offering.

The show is completely free to attend and tickets can be booked online, or by calling 0844 888 8339. For more information follow @MECHANEXShow on Twitter, or visit the MECHANEX website.
