Banner Batteries – one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of batteries and battery accessories – has strengthened its association with one of UK aftermarket’s premier trading groups – GROUPAUTO.
Having been appointed as an approved supplier, GROUPAUTO’S expansive network of some 300 plus motor factor members with around 500 outlets located across the UK will now have access to Banner’s extensive automotive battery programme. As established OE supplier to Audi, BMW, Volkswagen, Porche, Aston Martin, Morgan, Daimler and Volvo etc, and backed by world class manufacturing capabilities, it is a family of products that takes in Banner’s traditional battery range of Power Bull, Starting Bull, Buffalo Bull and RedPower.
GROUPAUTO members will also benefit from being able to tap into the company’s Running Bull EFB and AGM technology driven battery range that is today deployed as OE across many of today’s most popular automotive applications.
Instrumental in securing the new partnership between Banner UK and GROUPAUTO is recently appointed Country Manager – Lee Quinney, a highly experienced figure within the UK motor trade and automotive industry, who is in the process of bolstering the company’s already highly-charged reputation by assembling an enriched UK sales division and bolstered marketing team. Indeed it is this resource that will seek to build a combined strategic and creative marketing platform initiative with GROUPAUTO as a means of delivering a defined and coordinated trade and consumer driven programme.
Commenting on Banner’s appointment as an approved supplier, Lee Quinney said: “This fantastic partnership with GROUPAUTO gives us the ideal platform and opportunity to demonstrate Banner’s philosophy that embodies delivering technical perfection with optimum service.
“As a result, our relationship with GROUPAUTO benefit from Banner’s growing team of experienced and innovative thinking individuals who are set to strengthen the company’s sales and marketing effort over the coming months. And this is equally applicable to the new technological advancements that emanate at Group level, particularly in relation to the progress of Start-Stop technology that will shortly supersede the market for traditional flooded batteries. In summation, we are extremely excited to have been given the opportunity to work alongside GROUPAUTO once again and our core promise is to simply deliver,” he added.
