NGK promotes ‘Biggest BoxClever Offer Ever’ at MECHANEX

NGK Spark Plugs (UK) is offering its independent garage customers and MECHANEX visitors an extra incentive to fit its NTK Lambda sensors.

The ignition specialist is awarding members of its BoxClever garage loyalty scheme extra points each time they purchase the product during a special promotion campaign running throughout April-June this year.

BoxCleverThe promotion, which will be one of the focal points of NGK’s appearance at MECHANEX, will see the points awarded increase from 100 per item to a massive 1,000 – making it an even more attractive proposition for garages.

Simple yet effective

NGK recently revitalised BoxClever, however the scheme remains simple: the more you purchase, the greater the rewards. Following the purchase of NGK spark plugs, glow plugs, NTK sensors and ignition coils, scheme members are encouraged to collect the single boxes that the products come supplied in and these are then returned in exchange for prize points.

With a value designated to each of the boxes, points are then accumulated and added to the user’s account once NGK has confirmed receipt of the packaging. These points can then be used to claim a number of fantastic free gifts as and when the member has raised enough capital to cash in.

Mark Hallam, NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Marketing Manager, said: “NGK has enjoyed a long and highly successful relationship with our distributors and their garage customers with our spark plug and glow plug ranges, but there are also opportunities for them to develop increased business by stocking our NTK sensors. That’s why we’ve decided to increase the points awarded for purchasing our Lambda sensors during this special promotional period.

“Our customers can be secure in the knowledge that our NTK Lambda sensors always match the VMs’ specifications and are factory tested as part of this process. They have OE connectors as standard, so no crimping or soldering is required.

“Garages should insist that their factors always supply them with NTK Lambda sensors or they will miss out on receiving 1,000 BoxClever points per box while purchasing during this special promotion campaign. There has never been a better time to fit them.”

Girl power

New BoxClever girl Gemma Lloyd (pictured, above) will be highlighting the promotion when she visits UK independent garages in NGK’s brand-new customised VW Caddy van. The company will also be focusing on the campaign at the Alexandra Palace MECHANEX show in North London on April 19 & 20.
