The risks and problems of maintaining power to the vehicle when changing the battery are well known. There are several options available to the technician but using the GYSpack Memory Saver may now be the simplest.
The device simply connects via the OBD port to provide a secure power supply. If necessary the powerful internal 7Ah AGM battery will maintain the vehicle electronic systems for many hours without the need for recharging. A charge indicator light will display the state of charge.
It comes supplied with an external mains charger for quick recharging. Though primarily designed for in workshop or roadside use, a 12V DC power socket can also be used as a power supply for other devices whilst on the move for example recharging of mobile phones and other such devices.
