The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has launched Priority Plus in partnership with APRIL UK, a medical cash plan designed for individuals working within the automotive industry.
The official Lifestyle Protection Partner will offer IAAF members a range of cost-effective employee benefit schemes, which can be shaped to meet the member’s exact requirements.
APRIL is one of the UK’s leading providers of Income Protection and Health Insurance policies, specialising in a large selection of plans, including Life Insurance, Private Medical Insurance, and Accident and Sickness plans.
IAAF members can use the new Priority Plus plan to receive help with everyday medical expenses, from visits to the dentist, optician, physiotherapist or any other healthcare professional.
The scheme provides cashback towards the price of expensive medical bills, allowing members to protect their health without worrying about the cost.
In designing this bespoke package, the aim was to create a comprehensive set of benefits that would protect the long-term health and wellbeing of industry employees. With a competitive price, the plan acts as an easy, affordable way to gain cover for a wide range of illnesses and ailments.
Areas of cover include:
• Dental – up to £280/year
• Optical – up to £280/year
• Specialist consultations – up to £500/year
• Therapies (incl. physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic) – up to £600/year.
With a key focus on flexibility, the policy allows for the addition of optional cancer cover and fracture cover, which is particularly important in such a labour-intensive industry.
Members can also benefit from the complimentary benefits included with every APRIL UK policy, such as access to the best surgeons and doctors, an expert second opinion service for medical enquiries, and together with Bupa, 25% off its comprehensive range of health assessments.
Wendy Williamson, IAAF Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to team up with APRIL UK and be able to offer all our members a selection of employee benefit schemes. The wide range of plans enable members to choose a scheme most appropriate for their business and offer employees a substantial benefit.”
