Motaquip expands tie rod ends range

Motaquip has expanded its steering and suspension range with tie rod ends for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (2018-2021).

These latest additions have reportedly arose from analysing the trade and identifying an opportunity.

When it comes to tie rod ends, given their importance, it needs to be quality product. They connect a vehicle’s steering rack to the front wheels, using force to pivot and help the vehicle turn. Tie rod ends in prime condition will support steering and wheel alignment, and they will absorb robust suspension movements too.

However, should ‘play’ or vibrations in the steering wheel, uneven tyre wear and alignment be noticeable, these are signs tie rods need to be assessed and, potentially, replaced. Motaquip recommends tie rod ends be replaced on both sides.

Motaquip’s tie rod ends have been engineered in Europe, using the latest techniques and heat-treated materials. They are supplied as complete kits, including locking rings, so the technician should enjoy a simple fit.

The tie rod ends (LVTR2120 and LVTR2121) for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (2018-2021) join a range of steering and suspension components for the model, including:

LVTR2046: Rack end (front axle, left and right)

LVSM1046: Strut mount kit (front axle, left/right)

LVSJ1288: Lower ball joint (front axle, left/right)

LVSA2146: Lower suspension arm (front axle, left)

LVSA2147: Lower suspension arm (front axle, right)

LVSL1621: Stabiliser link (front axle, left, FWD only)

LVSL1622: Stabiliser link (front axle, right, FWD only)

LVSL1578: Stabiliser link (rear axle, RWD only)

Motaquip continues to broaden its offering for the LCV sector, with 6145 part numbers for 77 applications, like the Sprinter, in stock.
