BookMyGarage has launched its own verification scheme to further raise standards in the aftermarket sector and provide motorists with peace of mind when selecting a garage.
The verification scheme will provide motorists with confidence when they book a ‘BMG Verified’ garage through the platform. BookMyGarage allows you to compare, choose and book a garage with the instant search results displaying pricing, convenience options, reviews and now the ‘BMG Verified’ badge.
To achieve verification, partner garages must have achieved a minimum of 20 reviews with scores of 4.5+ stars. Partner garages must also meet the BookMyGarage SLA requirements, have a minimum of 70% attendance rates and honour bookings at the confirmed price while the verification will be automatically removed if standards slip. In addition, BookMyGarage conducts a physical inspection of the garage premises. It is only available to garages part of the BookMyGarage Tier or Accelerate programmes due to the aforementioned checks and SLAs, which are contractual terms.
The BookMyGarage Tier programme identifies garages which consistently maintain its standards and receive the best reviews while Accelerate propels garages which excel on its platform to the top of online searches in their localities making it more likely for customers to find them.
Garages which meet the criteria will be badged as ‘BMG verified’, and eligibility will be checked monthly, with any falling short on any of the SLAs having their badge removed until the criteria is met again.

“Whilst our standards are high, our best performing garages are already achieving these levels of customer service which will enable them to qualify for verification immediately. For example, our Accelerate garages achieve an average 4.83 stars out of five.”
