After the success of last year’s events, TRW Automotive Aftermarket has once again announced a series of ‘Safety Days’ at the famous Nuerburgring in Germany to communicate the importance of component quality in safety critical situations.
“As the leading supplier of OE quality ‘Corner Module’ (braking, steering & suspension) parts and systems, we are committed to promoting driver and pedestrian safety,” explained TRW’s Global Marketing Services Manager, Soeren Kristensen.
“The 2013 events proved so popular we could have doubled our guest list,” he continued. “With safety our main objective and the importance of component quality and professional fitting our main messages, this is great news.
“Once again, major customers and members of the European trade press will experience the benefits of TRW’s world class technologies and OE quality components in action during safety critical situations.”
Visitors will undertake a tour of TRW’s manufacturing and testing facilities, followed by practical safety training with real life conditions simulated to highlight potentially dangerous driving situations.
The events’ will coincide with the 2014 VLN racing Championship at which numerous vehicles of varying size and specification compete on the grid at the same time; highlighting the need for quality parts and professional fitment in an ever growing global vehicle parc.
The events will take place on the following dates: July 3-5; July 31 – August 2; August 21-23; September 11-13; October 9-11 and October 23-25 2014.
