Pico – Petrol gasoline cranking compression test

Petrol gasoline cranking

In this video, which accompanies the ‘Pressure School’ article in April’s issue of Professional Motor Mechanic magazine, Steve Smith of Pico Technology gives a demonstration on how to carry out a cranking compression test on a petrol gasoline vehicle using the WPS500 and PicoScope Automotive.

Using the WPS500 standard compression hose (TA212) and an M14 deep reach adapter (TA218) Steve explains installation of the WPS500 to the vehicle, and running the test.
