Bosch has enhanced its tyre equipment range to provide technicians with a safe, versatile and importantly time-saving operation, with models that suit every type of workshop.
Recognising that tyre-related service is a strong business opportunity that workshops can’t afford to ignore, Bosch’s new generation of tyre changing equipment is designed to be versatile and increase productivity without compromising safety.
At the top of the range are the TCE 4470 and 4475, both pneumatic titling column tyre changers for passenger cars, especially designed for tyre specialists and high volume workshops. They are equipped with a clamping capacity of 28-inch externally and 32-inch internally.
The value-driven TCE 4400 and 4405 have also been introduced, which offer a pneumatic tilt back column tyre changer to lower and medium-volume workshops. They are equipped with a 20-inch (external clamping) round turntable, pneumatic locking of the tool and the pneumatic bead breaker.
Bosch’s G-Frame concept technology is now at the heart of the tyre changer range. This unique and advanced feature increases the rigidity of the machine, reducing the flow of internal forces, avoiding tyre and rim damage, a must with the RFT and UHP tyres fitted to expensive alloys, while also improving the time it takes to change the tyre. This makes the new machines ideal for high-volume, specialist or dedicated tyre workshops.
These new additions to the range complement the existing TCE 4430 and the TCE 4435 tilt-back tyre changers, which are equipped with a 22-inch (external clamping) round turntable and available with all of the same options as the TCE 4470/4475 series.
