Snap-on’s new 16.2 software upgrade means technicians’ handheld tools will provide the same comprehensive performance as on the first day of use.
The latest release brings the tools right up to date on the latest vehicles plus it adds in tests and tips that are tried and proven by Snap-on’s team of experts.
Packed with more than 100,000 new systems, codes and tests on vehicles dating back to the 1992 model year, the software stays advanced as vehicles continue to develop with coverage for technology that didn’t exist until a few years ago – such as collision avoidance and lane departure systems.
Updates to the Component Test Meter coverage include the addition of Lexus and the manufacturer’s ABS menus, new vehicles for Mazda, Nissan and Renault, and three new technology classes – driver assistance, pressure transducer, and tips for successful fault-finding.
