Irwin Tools has launched the Quick-adjusting vice, available in 4 or 5” sizes.
The unit uses a fast release lever functionality to quickly loosen the jaws of the vice and return it to the locked position, which is said to significantly reduce the time necessary to adjust when frequently clamping and changing materials.
Key features of the product include a swivel base with three mounting points and 120° rotation, a self-cleaning buttress thread helping to prevent clogging, and a cast iron body with integrated hardened steel anvil and jaws for added durability.
