DENSO has reinforced its extensive Glow Plug catalogue, adding an additional nine part numbers.
The winter period contributes up to 80% of annual aftermarket glow plug sales, and the update should deliver further opportunities for workshops to take advantage of the peak season.
A wider range of suitable, high-quality parts and greater coverage can help boost bottom lines and improve customer service.
DENSO’s OE quality glow plugs allow super-fast pre-heating, and extended post-heating from a cold start; reducing engine emissions and noise, while maintaining greater resistance to erosion.
This latest extension to DENSO’s innovative Glow Plugs range provides distributors with an even broader selection of Glow Plug part numbers, reaching a total of 144 for the whole range. With an additional 261 applications for several major vehicle manufacturers, including Ford, Nissan, Opel and Mazda, workshops are able to meet the growing demand for high quality glow plugs.
Nick Thomas, Product Manager at DENSO Sales UK, said: “The update ensures workshops and distributors will be able to provide the best glow plugs for customers wanting a high quality product under the most extreme weather conditions.
“With winter well and truly underway, it’s imperative that we can deliver workshops and distributors with a cutting-edge service that can optimise their seasonal sales, and this update cements our comprehensive offering.”
The range extension brings DENSO’s comprehensive total Glow Plugs programme vehicle coverage to more than 7,700 applications.
