Chicago Pneumatic, a leader in high-performance air tools since 1901, continues to deliver innovation and high-performance technology for mechanics with the new CP7759Q ½” air impact wrench, the first impact wrench to feature carbon-fibre materials for a rugged, lightweight yet powerful design.
Carbon-fibre composite materials are used in a variety of applications, ranging from industrial equipment to consumer goods. Chicago Pneumatic developed the CP7759Q utilising a unique carbon-fibre inlay housing which reduces weight and adds protection for the twin-hammer clutch for long-term durability.
The result is the lightest ½” impact wrench in the CP range, weighing just 3.74lbs (1.74 kg). Its lightweight construction makes the CP7759Q a more comfortable, highly balanced tool to reduce wrist and forearm fatigue, while still delivering 780 ft.-lbs. (1054 Nm) of maximum torque in reverse to give mechanics powerful performance for a variety of vehicle service operations and general maintenance applications.
With Chicago Pneumatics’ exclusive S2S Technology, the CP7759Q also enables users to effortlessly switch between forward and reverse with one hand without moving the tool, even in tight spaces. The three-position regulator in forward provides great control, while full power remains constant in reverse to ensure users have the power required to remove weathered and over-tightened fasteners. In addition, the integral muffler of the CP7759Q also helps reduce sound level, for operator comfort, while maintaining maximum power.
