Banner Batteries has launched a new and updated version of its online battery finder portal.
In addition to taking on a whole new look, the web portal has been re-engineered for improved user friendliness. Site visitors simply need to enter the relevant vehicle registration into a novel ‘number plate’ shaped window and the search facility does the rest.
Banner has also created an updated log in section within the website architecture that can be personalised using a customer’s own branding, the aim being to deliver a unique and bespoke user experience. And whilst the new online portal is cross platform compatible, be it on a computer, laptop, tablet or mobile device, a button-shaped plug-in dongle remains available and which can be used to launch the home page automatically on a computer or laptop screen.
Now simpler and effortless to use, the search results now detail additional information in the form of the relevant part number, capacity, power rating and Suggested Selling Price (SSP), inc VAT.
A further click through presents users with a table of extended technical information, such as the battery’s dimensions, layout, engine compartment location and an estimated time for fitting. What’s more, for those having access to the log in section, customers are also able to obtain comprehensive guides to full fitting details.
Commenting on the new version of its Battery Finder, Country Manager, Lee Quinney said “As is widely acknowledged, batteries are far more vehicle specific than ever and the importance of selecting the right battery for a particular vehicle has never been more consequential. This tool makes this process virtually fool proof, which is something you should expect from a company that stands as an OE supplier to such leading vehicle manufacturers such as Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Skoda and VW,” he added
