SMPE has developed four new Air Mass Meter inserts. The parts are the latest Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) types, which provide a more precise signal to the ECU to help control fuelling more accurately.
The new sensors have been developed in- house and are manufactured at the company’s ISO 9001:2015 accredited Nottingham manufacturing facility to ensure consistent quality and performance. Part number 19377- M fits a large number of extremely popular Chevrolet, Opel and Vauxhall petrol and diesel models, including Aveo, Adam, Astra, Corsa, Meriva and Zafira Tourer (2009 onwards).
Part number 19310-M fits a variety of BMW 5, 6, 7, X5 and X6 models which use the 4.0, 4.4 and 4.8 litre V8 (2005–2014).
Finally, part number 19782-M fits Opel/Vauxhall Mokka and Chevrolet Trax using the 1.7 CDTi (131bhp) engine, while 19865-M is brand new to range and fits the top of the range Audi A8 with 6.3L W12 engine.
