NRF has launched a new product line, EGR cooling. The range contains EGR coolers, including EGR valve and heat exchangers for cars, light commercial vehicles and trucks.
An EGR cooler is an emission related device that meets the new EURO 6 standards. Its purpose is to cool down the exhaust gas before they are returned into the engine to reduce NOx values further more.
The EGR cooler operates as a heat exchanger. Through the EGR cooler, coolant is flowing in fixed channels.
The coolant absorbs the heat from the exhaust gas and reduces the exhaust gas temperature to 100 degrees.
