Yuasa Battery Sales (UK) Ltd made the perfect start to the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship racing as they hunt their fifth championship win in just six years.
Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden each won a race on the opening weekend of the season, at Brands Hatch Indy, in their Honda Yuasa Racing Civic Type R’s last weekend and lie first and fifth respectively in the championship standings after round one.
The all new Type R race car sports a stunning new livery featuring Yuasa’s iconic red, white and black brand colours. Triple champion Matt Neal and 2012 champion ‘Flash’ Gordon Shedden are piloting the aggressive looking machines in what will be their sixth season together as team mates at Honda.
Yuasa has a long and proud heritage in BTCC racing, having sponsored the Team Dynamics run Honda operation since 2010.
