Tenneco has welcomed 100 leaders representing its top aftermarket customers to thank and include them in the company’s celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Monroe® brand.
Speaking at the event in Milan, Italy, Bruce Ronning, Tenneco’s new Vice President and General Manager, Europe Aftermarket, expressed the importance of working together as business partners.
“On behalf of the management and all the employees of Tenneco, I thank you for being our partners. We are on a journey that starts and ends with our customer, and we are committed to growing together.”
In addition to a gala dinner, guests enjoyed a full overview of Tenneco’s innovative Monroe® and Walker® aftermarket products, programs, and an update on the company’s latest original equipment technologies. The event included a Monroe® ride and drive opportunity.
“We are committed to our customers’ success by supporting the independent aftermarket with market leading brands, quality products, training programs and outstanding customer service, said Ronning. “Your success is our success.”
The Monroe 100th year anniversary celebration launched Tenneco’s annual aftermarket International Information Conference – a four day event in which Tenneco hosted more than 170 product managers and sales and marketing staff from international trade groups and wholesale distributors from Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
IIC guests participated in a series of workshops covering aftermarket ride performance and clean air product portfolios, new product and program updates, OE product information, marketing communications, sales support and a Monroe® ride & drive event.
The new Tenneco B-connected fleet of Tenneco xpo Cruiser vans and highly modified Mini Cooper passenger cars were also present. B-connected builds on the success of the company’s multi-year Tenneco on Tour technical education experience.
Participants also received training on using Tenneco’s extensive advanced online technical training platforms that are unique in the industry. These included Techline and TADIS (Technicians Advanced Digital Information System), both of which are accessible free of charge and in all European languages.
