MECHANEX, the regional tradeshow for auto repair professionals, is delighted to announce that former F1 driver Perry McCarthy, Top Gear’s original ‘Stig’, will be in attendance throughout 2016.
His appearance at Manchester, Event City, on May 17 & 18, will enable petrol heads, motor racing enthusiasts and Top Gear fans to have questions answered about cars, racing and his career in general.
Perry is a co-owner of ECU remapping company Topgear Tuning, which will be exhibiting at the show for the very first time.
The company’s training technicians will be on the stand demonstrating how to easily modify and upgrade a vehicle’s ECU using its custom written engine maps, utilising the experience of over 20,000 successful remaps across its 270 outlets.
Visitors will also be able to find out how to join the growing Topgear partnership programme network and take advantage of a special MECHANEX show discount.
Remapping is a growth market driven by increasing consumer demand and recognition of published gains for both engine performance and fuel economy.
The Topgear partnership programme offers independent garages the opportunity to take commercial advantage of this drive.
Using experience, expertise, state of the art equipment and unique brand marketing, the programme can deliver, manage and support your entry in to the engine remapping trade for your use as a primary or additional revenue line opportunity.
Visit stand A40 to find out more about the programme, sign up or to quiz Perry.
*Perry will also be making an appearance on the PMM stand (C120) at 13:30 on both days, where visitors can find out his career, his thoughts on the new Top Gear line-up and on Jeremy Clarkson!
